Job Summary:
As Lean Expert at Ottobock Manufacturing Bulgaria you play a pivotal role in driving shopfloor improvements through Lean methodologies.
Your practical approach and proven experience of applying lean management philosophy in production turns you into an appreciated partner of supervisors, team leaders and outstanding operators helping them to identify, develop and implement Lean solutions perfectly fitting to their core challenges at value stream and individual workstation challenges.
In your role as Lean Expert you will step into our Ottobock leadership development path and will be mentored by Senior Lean Expert and Vice President Global Lean Management.

Qualifications:
• Education:
o Supervisor’s degree in Industry, Manufacturing, Chemistry or a related field;
o Certified Lean Qualification or Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage.
• Experience:
o Minimum of 3+ years of practical experience in production and people management.
o Hands-on experience working on a production line with Teamlead/supervisory responsibilities.
o Demonstrated expertise in Lean projects.
• Skills:
o Mastery of Lean Shopfloor tools and techniques (Shopfloor Management, Standards, KAIZEN, etc.).
o Skills in waste analysis and value stream/workstation optimization.
o Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management abilities
o Fluent English (oral and written).
Key Competencies:
• Expert Problem-Solving: Proven expertise in applying Lean Problem Solving tools.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Mentoring Shopfloor leaders and developing Lean capabilities.
• Collaboration and Influence: Strong ability to work with shopfloor teams and convince internal partners like Production Engineering to adopt Lean practices.
• Moderation of Workshops: Defining goals, designing agenda and moderation of Lean workshops with shopfloor teams
