Acting as informal supervisor of the local e-cash team and building up a small Team in our location in Sofia for the e-cash Accounting department. Also perform vital financial functions related to the payment, accuracy, recording, analysis, and presentation of financial operations of the e-cash business units:
What you will do:
Acting as informal supervisor of the local e-cash team and helping to build up a team with future management function (of up to 4 employees) including regular 1:1 meetings and team jour fixe, absence planning, performance & development talks (at least semi-annually/annually) and recruiting as well as onboarding and training of new employees
Responsible for daily business transactions for a defined number of companies within the Group (fixed asset accounting, accounts receivable/payable, intercompany, payment transactions, bank accounting, regulatory reports, salaries, account reconciliations and month-end closing entries, including accruals/deferrals)
Preparation of raw balance sheet for the general ledger and sub ledger in accordance with local and international regulations (UGB/IFRS)
Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
Processing of intercompany reconciliations within the Group including clarification of any differences
Contact person for external and internal partners (e.g. local accountants, intercompany partners, auditors, tax consultants, etc.)
Project work
To be successful you need to have:
BA completed commercial formation (University of applied sciences (FH)/University) or equivalent education/experience
National accountancy certificate advantageous
> 3 years’ professional experience in accounting up to the balance sheet, preferably with in Ecommerce and/or Payment industry
Relevant experience in Ecommerce and/or Payment industry
Fluent in English, other language skills (especially German) advantageous
Experience working with SAP preferable
Open for ERP transition projects
Excellent command MS-Office, especially Excel is a prerequisite
Independent, flexible, and pro-active working style
ability to cope with workload peaks
