About the Team:
Join our dynamic Bulgaria Project Engineering team as a Project Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of nuclear power in Bulgaria.
Based in Sofia, you’ll be at the forefront of an exciting new plant opportunity in Kozloduy. This position offers you the chance to work on cutting-edge nuclear power plant design projects, contributing directly to Westinghouse's international expansion in the new build market.
This role is perfect for engineers eager to grow as both technical and business leaders, with exposure to multidisciplinary design challenges and extensive networking opportunities within Westinghouse.
About the role:
Compile existing technical design information across various technical areas into reports utilizing applicable quality procedures and job aids
- Assess incoming customer requests, develop response plan
- Independently and with limited guidance interact with various engineering groups and other departments involved in a new build project to drive the delivery of engineering commitments on time and with the appropriate quality
- Define scope, schedule and estimate engineering hours per customer provided RFQs
- Integrate scope, schedule and estimate engineering hours inputs from the different engineering groups
- As necessary lead the interaction with the BU and customers thru presentation and articulation of technical solutions
- Support various aspects of future bid and proposal efforts in various European countries
- Supports the Project Engineering Manager and Design Technical Lead
About you:
- Master’s degree in engineering, Nuclear, Mechanical, Power Engineering are preferred
- Effective oral and written communication in English, Bulgarian will be also an asset.
- Ability to establish effective networks across various functional areas
- Knowledge and effective use of Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as projects require (up to +/- 25% for peak times)
