Cyris offers card API-based card technology, in-house expertise and extensive integrations to grow and scale our partners programs.
Cyris is looking for an experienced Database Administrator to build and maintain transaction processing (OLTP) and analytical processing (OLAP) databases from various vendors.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Architect and plan database deployments;
• Install and configure database instances;
• Maintain database instances;
• Secure database instances;
• Monitor and tune database performance – query optimization, index optimization, database reorganization, execution plan investigation;
• Troubleshoot database problems;
• Help in database design;
• Create documentation.

You are the perfect fit for this position if you have:

• 4 or more years of experience as Database Administrator
• Experience with Microsoft SQL (DB Engine, SSIS, SSRS, Always ON) and/or any of MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch;
• Scripting – Shell, Bash, Perl, PowerShell, etc.;
• Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Infrastructure Libraries (ITIL) processes;
• Knowledge of English language at intermediate level.
Any of the following will be considered as advantage:
• Advanced level of formal training and certification in MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Elasticsearch;
• Experience in PCI DSS Environment.
