The Foundation Program is a six-month training designed to provide tutoring on diverse software technologies to ambitious individuals ready to launch their career as Data Engineers. It offers you the unique opportunity to build new technical skills, prove your talent in a competitive environment, work on demo projects, and join forces with your fellows who enter the program.

Being part of our Foundation Program, you will

• Start with an eight-week preparatory training covering the basics of Data Engineering and continue your knowledge development in the following months
• Develop the skills you need to become a Data Engineer by collaborating with your teammates on demo projects
• Gain knowledge in programming languages used in data science (Python, SQL)
• Learn how to design and architect dataflows and database systems
• Use various tools for big data processing (Apache Spark, Databricks, etc.)
• Create reports with the most popular business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Use the leading public cloud providers (AWS/Azure)
• Be mentored by MentorMate University’s highly qualified Software Talent Trainers
• Improve your knowledge, your skills, and yourself
• Have a chance to continue your knowledge development in data engineering and prepare for a Databricks certification in phase three of the program
• Prove yourself and become a part of MentorMate's team

You need to have

• Good understanding of code and algorithms as well as strong analytical skills
• Basic knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: Python, SQL, or Scala
• Technical background (university degree, high school diploma, programming course)
• Passion for learning and desire to work with diverse technologies
• Good communication and teamwork skills and the ability to take ownership of your work
• Proficient English skills, allowing you to communicate with teammates on daily basis
• Proactive approach and ability to ask questions and go above and beyond

• Sign up for the program until March 31, 2023.
• One hour after signing up, you’ll receive a link with your technical assessment via email.
• You have five days to complete the assessment after applying.
• After successfully completing the assignment, you'll be invited for an online interview conducted in English.
• The best applicants will be offered to start the program on April 10, 2023.
