For one of our trusted clients - we are looking for: 

NON-PRODUCTION BUYER PLANT

Main Responsibilities: 

• Manages purchasing tasks for Non Production Purchasing goods (e.g. Capital Investment, tools, services, other general expenses).
• Performs activities within the Purchasing department.
• Ensures compliance with company purchasing standards.
• Initiates benchmarks, analysis, RFQ‘s for concerned material.
• Evaluates, selects and releases of suppliers.
• Negotiates with suppliers cost, terms and conditions, and lead time in accordance to requestor’s need.
• Negotiates and implements global and local supplier agreements/contracts.
• Implements cost savings and other cost reduction programs.
• Places Purchase Orders/General Contracts (e.g. Frame Contracts) with suppliers.
• Develops and implements site-specific sourcing strategies (global sourcing of suppliers and service providers).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Economics.
• Purchasing background.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system is desirable.
• Excellent negotiation, written, and verbal skills.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Exceptional organizational ability with good follow-up skills and attention to details are a must.
• Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various teams.
• Teamwork, cooperation, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
