Due to expansion, we are hiring database enthusiast who are going to be part of our Business Analytics team. The IT Database Architect will be responsible for analyzing and articulating complex system requirements. The individual will perform design, development, testing, validation, performance tuning, and quality assurance activities for individual business intelligence projects.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Evangelize self-service BI and visual discovery, including designing, developing and deploying tools that meet that objective.
• Gather and evaluate end-user and business owner functional requirements
• Design and develop sematic layers that enable end-user self-service ad hoc analysis as Microsoft Multidimensional OLAP Models.
• Review, enhance, design and develop ETL processes
• Test business rules against the data
• Resolve issues in Production and work with end-users
• Assist to BI Architecture team members with issues needing technical expertise

Skills and competences

Experience with the following technologies:

• Microsoft BI, Tableau, QlikView, PowerQuery
• MS SQL - Analytics Services/Cubes/
• MS SQL Automations – ETLs/Visual Studio Automations
• Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Strong English language skills (both spoken and written).
• Expertise in organizing and querying complex data models
• Strong visual design skills used in creating information solutions, easy to understand reports and dashboards
