As the business is growing, we must cover the ever-increasing demand and expectations for innovation and changes in IT. Because of this, we are looking for an experienced professional to join our IT Department in the position of Infrastructure Engineer - Backup/Storage (DELL EMC).

• Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows Server and enterprise editions of Linux like – Red Hat.

• Good understanding of VMware virtualization.

• 3+ years of relevant, hands-on experience in Enterprise Backup and Recovery utilizing EMC Data Domain, EMC Networker, NDMP Backups, Quantum tape libraries, EMC VTL Veritas Netbackup, Vertias BackupExec, Netbackup Ops Center.

• Professional certification in any of the above technologies is considered as a plus.

• 3+ years of relevant, hands-on experience in EMC Unity, VNX, XtremIO, VMAX, VPLEX, VNX, Recov-erPoint, NetApp, and HP-3PAR.

• Professional certification in any of the above technologies is considered as a plus.

• 3+ years of relevant, hands-on experience in Experience with Cisco or Brocade fiber channel switches.

• Experience in onsite DC activities (replacing failed parts, installing equipment, troubleshooting devices) will be considered as strong advantage.

Excellent fault diagnostics and troubleshooting skills.

Work closely with vendors and suppliers on purchasing, support, and maintenance.

Engage in engineering phases of backup software and related storage solutions delivery including planning, design, building, testing, and transition to operational support.

Work hand-in-hand with software development, DBA, and systems teams to ensure production systems are backed up and maintained in an optimal configuration.

Provide input to analysis, design, and direction regarding performance management and capacity planning services regarding backup infrastructure and related processes.

Perform capacity planning and performance tuning as it relates to the storage infrastructure.

Monitor the production environment and take corrective action.

Propose and drive changes and improvements to ensure optimum performance and reliability according to established IT performance metrics.
