Your Mission

We are looking for a looking for a talented and experienced DevOps specialist. You will take part in cross functional projects and varied DevOps initiatives, with a high impact on the company’s performance processing millions of money transactions a day across the globe. At Nuvei we take pride in our excellent DevOps achieved by a group of top-notch engineers.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Design and develop tools for managing and applying DevOps principles, such as CI/CD automation and IaC (Infrastructure as Code) on our production systems
• Maintain and optimize the application layer of a multi-DC environment.
• Manage various infrastructure applications – K8S, RabbitMQ, Splunk, and others
• Deliver solutions, architectures, and automation of Nuvei Application
• Conduct research to bring innovative solutions to a complex environment, share ideas to improve processes and tech stack
• Be part of cross-functional projects and initiatives
• Support application and infrastructure logging and monitoring solutions
• Join the on-call duty 24X7

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• 3+ years' experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
• 3+ years’ experience with Linux servers
• 3+ years' experience with databases such as MySQL / MSSQL
• 5+ years' experience with a live production environment
• Vast scripting experience in bash, PowerShell, etc.
• Good knowledge of Java build automation with Maven
• Accountability, ownership, and independence
• Great verbal and written communication skills in English
• Detailed oriented and organized person
• Experience with Agile software development and project management methodologies
• English at a highly proficient

Advantages:

• Practical experience with Apache Web Server, Glassfish Application Server environments
• Experience with at least one automation tool – Azure DevOps / Ansible / Terraform
• Experience with big data tools, such as Elastic, Kafka, and S3, among others
• Worked or is familiar with enterprise-company processes
