Data Analyst (Corporate Audit)

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join the existing Data team within KBC Corporate Audit (situated in Sofia, Millennium business center). Our candidate needs to have a strong professional background and willingness to further enrich his/her experience in the bank insurance field.
The Data team of KBC Corporate Audit aims to assist auditors in their daily work by performing advanced data analytics on business data. It aims to provide valuable insights to auditors by using all kinds of (advanced) data analysis techniques.

As our Data Analyst in the Corporate Audit team, your main responsibilities will be:

• Supporting audits in different entities of KBC Group;
• Applying all steps of the data analytics process, such as understanding the data needs, gathering the data, cleaning and structuring the data, analyse the data and report on the results of the data analysis performed;
• Exploring useful data analysis techniques in cooperation with auditors and cooperate with auditors to apply these techniques and evaluate the usefulness.

Key Competences that will help you succeed:

Required experience:

• Used a data query language (preferably SQL);
• Performed analysis of large data sets in order to obtain useful insights;
• Demonstrated a constant learning attitude.

Other beneficial experience:

• Use data visualization tools (Qlik Sense; MS Power BI; Tableau etc.);
• Coded ETL tasks;
• Coded with Python;
• Worked for financial services sector (banks; insurance; leasing; payments; etc.)
• Obtained a degree/specialization in software or computer engineering, economics and econometrics, applied math, physics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
