The Data Analyst will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. The responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. The Data Analyst will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

On this role you will be responsible for:

• Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports
• Transforming raw data into the metrics and dimensions needed to create easy-to-understand reports and dashboards.
• Creating real-time dashboards that surface the details of a single input or a set of inputs based on specified parameters
• Working with databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systems
• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Working with client Program Managers to outline the specific data needs for each business method analysis project
• Locating and defining new process improvement opportunities, recommending new ways to improve cost model by streamlining business processes
• Using data to create models that depict trends in the customer base and the consumer population as a whole 

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
• BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL is a must)
• Experience with connecting data from spreadsheets, Google Analytics, BigQuery, and other big data 
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
• Programming skills (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks) is considered as an advantage
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
