Summary of the Role:
Cytric Senior Technical Business Analyst ensures the definition of high-quality end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements and customer expectations, analyses requirements, performs functional analysis, identifies impacts and dependencies, proposes and aligns solutions, creates high quality as-is and functional specifications and documentation.
He/she can perform all of his/her duties autonomously. He/she works closely with Product Managers, Software Developers and Quality Assurance Engineers.
He/she supports and upskills new team members and is recognized as an expert in the field he/she works in.
- As Cytric Senior Technical Business Analyst in our team, you’ll be expected to:
- Analyze business requirements submitted by Product Management.
- Carry out functional design.
- Analyze as-is behavior, evaluate impacts and dependencies.
- Facilitate solution discussions between Product Management, Development, QA, providing inputs on product functionality, protecting the integrity and consistency of the product.
- Align solutions with Product Management and R&D experts.
- Validate both functional and non-functional requirements against the business needs, goals and objectives of a particular solution.
- Write comprehensive As-is Descriptions, Solution Overview Documents, Functional Specifications, Troubleshooting Guides.
- Present functional walk-throughs to all concerned stakeholders.
- Obtain specification validation through carrying out reviews with key stakeholders
- Contribute to specification validation of other team members.
- Support the Development and QA during implementation and testing - providing the business perspective, main use cases, and ensuring customer need is met.
- Validate the product to ensure compliance of the delivered functionality and system integrity.
- Interface with relevant teams to address Usability and User Experience early in the solution deign.
- Interface with relevant teams to identify interactions with other applications and ensure functional compatibility.
- Support and contribute to the upskilling of new team members.
- About the ideal candidate
- To succeed in your new role, you’re required to have relevant experience in the following areas:
- Knowledge of UML diagrams
- A great understanding of different test tool applications (Postman)
- Excellent analysis and design skills
- Previous experience in designing solutions from a functional perspective
- Result-orientation and attention to details
- Understanding of APIs
- In depth Travel industry knowledge is a plus
- Experience in creating comprehensive documentation
- You’ll also have great skills and abilities:
- Advanced level of written and oral English
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
- Comfortable in a multi-cultural, international organization
