Cloud Native Java Developer

Currently we are looking for Cloud Native Java Developers. We are providing several opportunities in various teams within KBC structure. Examples are Francis team - where you can develop further our HR digital assistant, 3PS and Deals - with a focus on development of mobile applications, with a drive for quality and focus on customer experience, Payments - where you can build solutions in our apps and include some of the latest payment technologies like Apple Pay, Wearables, Programmable Money or KateCoin (KBC’s crypto coin) and many others with focus on Customers, Insurance, Credits, B2B, etc.

We can offer you also the opportunity to grow into a Full Stack developer, in case you are keen on developing - we will provide the space and knowledge.

Key competences that will help you succeed:

• Expert in object-oriented in modern programming languages.
• You have relevant work experience (in a business context) in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with deploying on PAAS/IAAS platforms and good understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferably)

Nice to have competences:

• Experience with development for front end applications and RESTfull web services, JSON
• Experience with Maven, Jenkins, Git
• Databases: PostgreSQL
• Typescript, Angular, Javascript, HTML, CSS
• Jasmine, Karma
• Knowledge of encryption (SSL, OAuth, OpenId)
• Very good knowledge of software development best practices
• Design patterns
• Unit testing, continuous integration, build pipelines (grunt, gulp, jenkins)
• Code analysis (Sonar)
• Experience in an agile development (Scrum, Kanban)
