APEX DEVOPS ENGINEER

The impact you will create:

• As a member of the APEX DevOps Team, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures
• You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of CICD Pipelines, Provisioning of Infrastructure and Automation of different use cases in that area
• Activities for the Oracle APEX development stack: Design, develop, troubleshoot CICD Pipelines /Automate recurring tasks /Provide Self Services for the APEX Developers/ Design Standards for Version Control with Git (Branch & Merge Strategy) / Operation of the Oracle APEX Platform (Database, Tomcat, ORDS)

Experience and Skills You will Need:

• At least 3 years working experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environment, 3+ years as a System engineer, Systems architect, or Technical lead
• Strong experience and knowledge in building Oracle based Systems with Oracle APEX
• Strong development experience using SQL and PL/SQL programming languages
• Solid experience with Git Version Control System
• Solid experience in building CICD Pipelines within the Oracle APEX Ecosystem with Azure Pipelines, SQLcl and Liquibase
• Experience with Deployment of ORDS (Oracle Rest Data Services)
• Experience with Deployment of Apache Tomcat
• Experience with use, deployment, and development of cloud computing platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) / GCP / Azure
• Experience with Automation / Provisioning / IaC in the Oracle Ecosystem with Azure, Ansible, Terraform or Pulumi
• Use, interest, and understanding of Containers using Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
• Experience with streaming and messaging technologies such as Kafka , RabbitMQ and Streams would be a great advantage
