Accountant – temporary replacement

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as an accountant in an international company. Your combination of business thinking, attention to detail, diligent research abilities and analytical skills makes you an integral part of our Accounting Team.

Requirements:

• Relevant academic background – Finance, Accounting, Business administration; 
• Accounting experience or experience in a senior accounting role required; 
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel:
• Good interpersonal skills; 
• Proactive person;
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to work in very short terms.

·        Good command of English is an Advantage.

·        3-5 year accounting experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and enter journal entries which include correcting entries, allocating expenditures, grant related entries, etc.
• Assist bookkeepers, coordinators, principals, and administrators on day-to-day financial matters, reports and questions.
• Assist in year-end closing and audits.
• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Analyze financial records and reports and make adjustments as needed. 
• Analyze business operations, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations.
• Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.
