We have a blend of customers with around 80% hosted and the remainder running their own traditional in-house physical servers. This opportunity is ideal for someone that has a thirst for knowledge and a desire to advance their IT skills and knowledge. Joining our Support team as an IT Support Engineer your focus will be to meet SLAs and provide high level technical support.

In your role as 2nd line Support Engineer you will:
• Provide IT support for UK based clients
• Manage user and computer accounts in a Microsoft Active Directory environment
• Participate in the workstation lifecycle management - configuration, maintenance, coordinated replacement and end of life.
• Work closely with the Networking team to resolve various network connectivity issues
• Participate in the team’s various ongoing projects
• Enhance users experience by improving existing or introducing new systems and processes
• Spam filer and email archiving management
• Setup VoIP accounts and configure SIP phones based on Swyx phone system.
• Configuration and administration of network printers managed by Windows Printer management.

You will be the person who has:
• Fluency in English
• At least 1-2 years of experience in the IT end user support field
• Strong Windows workstation troubleshooting skills (Windows 7, 8.1 or 10)
• Administration experience in Active Directory, Exchange, Vmware, Hyper-v
• Good understanding of networking basics like DHCP, DNS, IP sub-netting, Wi-Fi technologies
• Good hardware knowledge
• Good communication skills and self-motivation
• Microsoft, Cisco or similar industry certifications will be considered an advantage
• Experience with Mac OS X, IIS, DFS/NTFS or WSUS will be considered an advantage
