Our production scope is from prostheses to industrial applications. We are global company and we are operating in 58 countries worldwide. Our headquarter is in Duderstadt, Germany.

The Role:

For our new production site situated in Blagoevgrad, we are currently looking for motivated and pro-active professional for the position of Strategic Buyer to supervise the production process.
The ideal candidate would be a self-driven, pro-active and hands-on individual with strong knowledge and proven track record.

Main Responsibilities:

• Works at global level and in close collaboration with the global team;
• Participating in the creation of global procurement market analyses for product group strategies;
• Independent preparation and implementation of tenders
• Independent preparation and execution of contract negotiations if necessary with the involvement of the legal department
• Management of the suppliers of the responsible product group
• Participation in new and change projects
• Independent management of the assigned product group in coordination with higher-level category managers / lead buyers at group level
• Qualifies new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists;
• Adapts corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommends frame agreements to management, and executes upon approval;
• Analyses and evaluates bids in order to determine the optimal value;
• Overseeing supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues;
• Aligns supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price.


• Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering or similar field;
• 3+ years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain;
• Experience with SAP system;
• Experience in Project Management would be a plus;
• Very good level in English;
• Strong negotiation skills;
• Good time management and task prioritization;
• Pro-active and solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
