What’s required?

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience in server systems and network administration.
• Excellent knowledge of Linux OS and RedHat and Debian-based distros (FreeBSD/NetBSD is a plus ).
• Shell Scripting, at least bash.
• Hands-on experience in network troubleshooting.
• Intermediate knowledge of Windows Servers OS ( Seniority is a plus ).
• Advanced knowledge in Virtualization technologies, hypervisors VMWare, KVM, Hyper V.
• Working knowledge of server administration and troubleshooting with tools like iptables, net-tools, tcpdump, lsof, hdb, strace, iproute2, etc..
• Experience with most common Server Services like MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL,Nginx, Apache Web Server, Postfix, Dovecot.
• Good enough English verbal and written communication skills.

What’s not required but considered as an Advantage:

• Experience with international customers and any programming language experience ( can be scripting languages like python(or Perl) );
• Working experience and knowledge with Linux Containers and FreeBSD Jails;
• Experience with DevOps tools and modern services software stacks;
• Experience with network troubleshooting tools like Wireshark;
• Experience with Kubernetes.

Part of your responsibilities will be:

• Building and maintaining in-house servers and network systems as well as client production systems;
• Setup and manage Virtual Clusters, Virtual Infrastructures;
• Apply security patches and best practices across servers and networking nodes as well as security audits;
• Managing High-Available clusters following best practices in servers configurations for availability and reliability;
• MGMT network operations on all OSI layers. ( tunnels, VPNs, Dynamic Routing Protocols, layer2, and 3 firewalls, etc. );
• Working mostly with OSS, but also with various enterprise systems;
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance and manage escalations;
• Perform HA and DRS procedures integrations and testings.
