Senior System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, troubleshooting and monitoring Windows based server infrastructure including Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Hyper-V private cloud infrastructure;
• Follow strict patch plan for the operating systems and all infrastructure components in scope;
• Create and optimize virtual machines utilizing Hyper-V;
• Troubleshooting and resolving incidents following ITIL service managements processes;
• Maintenance and configuration of Mail Gateway and Web Gateway solutions;
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of Azure cloud services is a plus;
• Strictly follows move to production process including to check that tools and documentation are up to date;
• Provide system documentation configuration tracking all software products;
• Analyses and solves complex incidents involving different teams, Identify root cause of incidents and make appropriate recommendation to avoid future failure. To fulfil these tasks, regular on-call and overtime work is expected;
• Perform investigation on new technology, help inbound project managers and other support team to introduce new technology, capacity planning & performance management;
• Provides expert security guidance in the form of vulnerability analysis, implementation of the best practices and audit recommendations.

Required Qualification

• At least 3 years job experience in IT operations and Windows system administration operations, Active Directory and Virtualized infrastructure;
• Knowledge of Exchange and Hyper-V is a plus;
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent;
• Ability to coordinate complex changes involving different support teams;
• Ability to meet deadlines;
• Fluent English;
• Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Infrastructure Libraries (ITIL) processes will be an advantage;
• Strong communication skills.
