For our client, the number 1 in the telecommunication market that encompasses all possible digital services to businesses, we are looking for an experienced professional to join their growing team as a Senior Linux System Administrator.


  • At least 3 years of experience in the ICT environment, focusing on Linux open source
    technologies as a Linux administrator;
  • Knowledge in the use of common automation technologies and system management
    software (e.a. SUMA, SALT, Zabbix);
  • Solution-oriented and able to offer structured and independent working ethics;
  • Able to efficiently produce and manage IT services through comprehensive expertise in the cross-section of the infrastructure stack;
  • High sense of responsibility and distinctive customer and service orientation;
  • Very good command of both spoken and written English.

Main responsibilities:

  • Take over the planning, securing and implementation of a Linux patch strategy for external customer systems;
  • Work on solution-oriented, complex, cross-topic customer enquiries/problems and use your expertise to solve these in direct contact with our customers;
  • Responsible for the regular implementation of the patch strategy, create reports, compliance checks, and coordinating these with the respective peers;
  • Develop and optimize operative processes, together with technical leads, according to ITIL inventory processes;
  • Assess new functions, evaluate their productive use and ensure operational compliance with service level agreements (SLA) and KPIs.
