NIK has been leader in the domain of Agriculture ever since 2002, which introduces innovative technologies for automatization and digitalization of the processes on the Bulgarian farms. Our portfolio includes some of the world leaders for production of GPS equipment and irrigation systems for the agricultural field.
Five years in a row we`ve been honored with the Trimble Award for development and popularization of precision planting in Bulgaria.
We are currently looking for a highly motivated and creative professional for the position of a Senior Accountant, situated in our office in Sofia.

Предпочитани умения

Our expectations:

  • At least 4 years relevant experience;
  • University degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • Strong understanding of accounting theory;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation and IFRS;
  • Experience in preparing VAT returns;
  • Good PC skills: MS Office and accounting software;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Excellent communication, leadership and decision-making skills
  • Entrepreneurial drive;
  • Positive and outgoing personality with professional manners.

Main responsibilities:

  • Being responsible for the proper keeping of primary accounting documents, spending cash funds and material resources, as well as accounting of documents;
  • Monitoring and correctly applying the changes of the applicable accounting and tax legislation relevant to the company’s activity;
  • Organizing accounting procedures, ensuring timely recording in the accounting records of all business transactions;
  • Participating in the monthly VAT return preparation;
  • Performing systematic arrangement of operational and accounting documentation;
  • Current accounting of sales and delivery invoices;
  • Communicating with customers and suppliers,
  • Tracking the deadlines for AR/AP.
