MVFinance is an international financial group that since 2013 incorporates companies specializing in consumer lending in Eastern and Southern Europe.
From the very beginning, the non-bank lending business kept growing at a rapid pace. Over the past 8 years, offices have been opened all over Bulgaria, and today, the financial services of the holding are available across several European countries, including. Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia, Spain, Bosnia .

Due to our plans for further domestic and international expansion, we are looking for a full-time Mid/Senior PHP Developer who will be part of our software development teams located in our Sofia headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and maintenance of the software products managing the company activities;
  • Participation in the process of designing and optimization of the company databases;
  • Occasional verification and optimization of computer code written by junior developers;
  • Participation in the implementation of the latest code development technologies and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming principles in working with PHP;
  • Experience with some of the PHP frameworks - Laravel, Symfony, Zend, CodeIgniter, etc.;
  • Experience with databases – MySQL, including understanding and writing of complex SQL queries;
  • Working skills and knowledge of web technologies HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap, XML, JSON;
  • Ability to use Git or other version control tools;
  • Great debugging and critical reasoning skills;
  • Constant desire to learn and develop in accordance with the new technologies in the field;
  • Able to work independently on the given tasks while coordinating his/her work with the team;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Working knowledge of English language.
