Job Description

Gameloft Sofia is hiring а 3D ANIMATOR.

As a 3D ANIMATOR, you will make high-level animations and create gameplay prototypes. You will also have a passion for animation and strong experience in creating animations yourself as well as regularly contributing to animation tasks such as rigging, skinning and animating.

Qualifications:

• Solid skill in animating the human bipedal figure as well as other organic forms.
• Strong knowledge of traditional animation principles and how they can be used to enhance gameplay.
• Ability to iterate quickly and often to improve quality in order to hit technical or design goals
• A minimum of 2 years' of experience in game development animating characters using 3DS MAX.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and execute high-level animation for use in final compositing real time game assets
• Assist designers and programmers with gameplay prototypes
• Experience rigging, skinning and animating assets using 3DS Max
• Effectively communicate with team of artists and programmers
• Investigate and keep up to date on new and competing software packages and technology
• Contributing efficiently to the artistic pipeline while adhering to platform limitations
