Who are we?
Active Bulgarian Society is a European NGO which cooperates successfully with public institutions, universities, other local and foreign NGOs mainly in the field of active youth participation.
ABS office is based in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria but the scope of its work crosses the borders of three continents.

Main responsibilities of the intern:
Development and management of European projects which aims to introduce young people to the functioning of European programs, as well as the essential link between Legal policies, Programs and EU projects.
The internship will help the participant to develop practical skills and prepare proposals. He/she will have the great opportunity to work in an international team, learn how to be an EVS coordinator and how to assign tasks for the new members of our team.
The internship may also include work with online platforms, websites and the social media for advertising purposes.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
- Ability to juggle and prioritize/manage multiple projects;
- Any professional knowledge/experience in mass communication, media, economics, business administration, international relations, law or linguistics;
- Excellent grammar and spelling skills that you are realizing in your everyday communication;
- Writing fast is nothing new for you;
- Abilities to handle websites, Microsoft Office programs and other software in an intuitive way.
- Self-confidence, accurate work and efficiency.
- Ability to prioritize and distribute tasks;
- Desire to gain experience and knowledge in the non-governmental sector;
- Preference to flexible working time and space;
- Excitement to work for one of the most successful and innovative organizations in Europe.
